As you worked and used trial and error to make and create, what can you share with others to help them?
Anything about characters, claymation, green screen, stop motion ideas, anything you can share about your progress . . . discuss in this post, please.

So today we were experimenting with the apps, and now we are figuring out how to impliment the green screen without having to go through and put it in in every. Little. Shot. So we are going to record the movie in the KomaKoma app, export the movie into the greenscreen app, then finally place music in it by putting it in the StopMotion app. We are going to start filming tomorrow!

We are having fun with learning about filming slow motion and seeing + trying out the apps that are on the iPad too. I'm having fun with trying to make the slow motion or claymation videos too. I can't wait for the next filming time we have too.

Today we figured out an easy way to do greenscreen. The first thing you have to do is make a movie in the Koma Koma app. Next, you add it to your camera roll then import it into the Do Ink Greenscreen app. Once it is there, you can find a barground picture on Google and import it in the second slot. After maybe adjusting the sensitivity a little bit, the greenscreen will work very well.

Try not to leave a gap in the background. It looks weird. Also wire in clay is better than just clay.

Today, my group played around with an app for a few minutes, and it isn't hard to figure out. I am not so sure how to hide some mistakes with the set, but i'm sure we can cover it up. Tomorrow might be a little rough.

I think my group is doing pretty well. However, I am starting to realize that we better start filming soon because we have a LOT of pictures to take!

We started shooting because I will be absent on day 4 but we got a good start. We were trying the apps and we liked the easier one because we could go back to the pictures easier.

To make your short film better, but you don't have to do this. Add the light it is cooler to have that extra light to make it more dramatic. I learned something about characters. It is SO HARD to stick peep bunnies to lifesaver with glue to make them stand. I also learned that you can build a house out of Lego shaped blocks that are candy :)

My group is doing great. We will start filming tomorrow and it will be an action movie. An "AHA" we made was the scene was at night in the city so when we will film it we will turn the lights off and use a spotlight to dimly light it up.

I learned that peeps are really hard to get to stand up. We had to glue the peeps to gummy lifesavers.

I noticed during filming that the characters are hard to film when moving because they have to match up good with the picture before. Also, we had to try different apps but found one worked better.

So we got most of the props done and we are well on our way to filming!!! We forgot to do some minor characters hair though because even though we are doing stick figures, The hair is still gonna be original. We Timed our project and found it to be 48 seconds which means a WHOPPING 480 pictures/frames to take. THAT IS GOING TO BE A LOT OF WORK!!! We figured out the problem of trying to get one of the characters to stay visible behind a foam fireball. The answer: PHOTO EDITING!!!!!!!! I'm gonna try to somehow use Pixlr to edit the photos so that it still looks normal

Red + Blue + Yellow = Brown
Red + Blue = Purple
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Yellow = Green
Any color + white = Lighter color
White + Expo marker = Grey
Cotton + Expo marker = Grey or black hair

By Expo marker, I mean black. I also forgot to mention that white clay plus clay red makes pink.
