Today my group and I got pretty far on our video. Common problems were that fishing wire would show and also hands could be seen. This is my last day of Summer Academy this year but I hope all the videos turn out spectacular. :)

I'm sad that you won't be here next week, but I will post the final films here on our Stop Motion page. Have fun at camp! ;-)

We are learning that you do not have as much control over fishing wire as you would think. We also forgot to move our hands out of the shots quite a bit. However, it was definitely an interesting to film today, and we got a good chunk of work done!

we started filming some of our slow motion film today and I think it is going very well with building the set and characters of the short film Can't wait to work on it more and more each day too.

To be honest, it's really frustrating when one of your characters falls over. But I am having fun messing around with Cookie Monster and the village people. I think my stop motion video will end up great.

We have to find a way to stand them up. Maybe tape underneath? A chunk of clay? They're so tiny!

That was annoying. You are right about that.

Well we got a bunch of people from other Lego themes like Iron Man and War Machine from Marvel, Obi-Wan Ken-obi from Star Wars, and Jay from Ninjago.

We had a car fall from a helicopter and that was so hard to not get our hands/arms in the picture.

My group finished our video but it was short so we are planing on creating another one made with clay. It will also be short. It should be fun and I can't wait to see the others.

My group and I finished our stop motion video, and it was totally worth the wait in the end. Our story was bout a peep that built a house. Then at the very end it exploded. The best part was eating the set :) This is my last day because of camp. I will miss this class!

We finished our stop motion video, but will make another one next week. One of the best parts was getting to eat all our props.

We started some test animations just to get the hang of animating. We animated a cool fireball throw to fire shield impact scene. We also took like 75% of the time just trying to get the camera set up. We created the last of the characters hair and did a lot of awesome stuff. We also had a huge problem with the glare but we fixed it. Our movie is going to turn out GREAT!!!!

Well, it took a while to create the right camera set up, but now it looks great. Please don't touch the stuff on the desk in the middle of the room, unless you need to use the iPad. Anyways, we tried to dye white clay black, but it ended up kind of purpley. I added blue to it and said the character had dyed his hair (Percy loves the color blue). We did a practice animation of an arm throwing a fire ball. It looks awesome! Can't wait to start the actual animation.
