Now that you've learned a little about stop motion animation and claymation, what are your thoughts?
What type of stop motion video would you like to make?
What props or characters are you thinking of considering?
What items will you need to bring from home to help create your video?

Stop motion by far appears more time consuming than originally thought, and with that, we will need to work fast. We are planning on doing a story that incorporates birds, so may need to do found objects, such as feathers, nest, etc.. Overall, I am very excited to get started!

I've done stop motion a little in the past but never a really big project like this. My group and I are doing a story with a dark twist at the end. I need to bring in a book maybe and a Christmas tree nest. I have high hopes for our project and expect it to go well.

An action packed battle between lego and clay.
Characters are going to be Bowser (from Super Mario) and some other lego guys and a weird clay creature. I might bring legos from home and the bowser to help.

I'd like to make something with small characters fighting a monster that is made out of clay. I have an idea that involves Lego guys, a clay monster and some other character that could actually kill the monster. The Lego guys would go in to fight, but are eaten by the clay monster. (Maybe) Then something comes in to fight it, loses. The clay monster succeeds.

Stop motion is a fun way to capture with cameras, with taking and making pictures and videos. Using clay, nest feathers, and a book. (Someones getting squashed!!!!!!)

I think that stop motion animation is super cool. I've made a few as a kid with legos. My group is doing a battle which uses both the whiteboard and lego models. We are bringing in to lego props.

We are planning on using candy for our props. The whole land would be made out of different candy, and would use peeps as the main characters. One of the peeps would be building its house with lego candy. It would be a stop motion short.

I think that stop motion is a unique way to make a video. My group is going to do a really cool battle. It will start out as a bomb falling from a plane on the whiteboard, crashing into the city, dissolving it, and then starting a battle between tanks and Lego mini figures. Our group is going to do stop motion animation. We will use the whiteboard, and a table to hold the Lego figures and the tanks for the battle scene. We are bringing toy army tanks, and lego mini figures to create this scene.

I would like to use the whiteboard to make some kind of magic duel with little stick figures. Some props might be like trees (THAT MIGHT CATCH ON FIRE FROM THE BATTLE) and like a river. All of those would be drawn on. Some characters might be this little fire wizard, a Water Wizard, Wind Wizard etc. Maybe even a...Wizard of light??? IDK. I might have to bring in more dry erase markers if there aren't enough colors but I think there are.

I can't wait to create a short film. Our short film includes a peep bunny building a house out of Lego candy blocks. We need smarties, peeling Twizzlers, peeps (bunny kind), Hershey, and gummy life-savers. Mia Alejandra and I can't wait to create this short film.

I think that stop motion animation is really time consuming, but it looks really impressive when finished. I would like to make a stop motion on a white board. The characters are probably going to from Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, or Throne of Glass. Celeana and Leo, perhaps? The characters are either going to the talking and interacting or battling. I'll try to find some different colored markers than red, black, green, and blue.

I am really excited about creating and short story. What my partners and I are thinking of is a little bunny trying to build its house and maybe we get to take a peek inside. We will need to get a lot of candy that is what we are trying to go for. We each have to bring in about 2 things of candy.

I like to build with lego's because I have been working with them for 8 years and it is easy and clay wold be easy to use to.

I think it is a bad and good thing Noah left because one kid wanted to leave a group and Noah wanted to leave to so they made a group. But I wished he stayed.

I think it's a good thing that Noah joined Contessa and formed a new group. The timing wasn't great, but at least it happened before the projects got too involved. I think everything will work out just fine. But yes, it is hard to lose someone from a group and start over. Cal, you and Matt are a great team, you will produce an amazing film and I can't wait! ;-)
